Winter Training

Seasons are made
in the off-season.

The Garage is indoors, warm, and open all winter — evenings and weekends, Bonney Lake. Private filmed sessions, a practice plan home after every one. The kids who train November through February don't show up to March tryouts hoping. They show up ready.

Why winter works

Rebuild without game pressure

Winter is the only time a swing or arm slot can be taken apart and rebuilt properly — no games on Saturday to protect, no coach begging for the old swing back. Change needs reps without consequences.

Film makes the change visible

Every session is recorded. Put November's video next to February's and the difference isn't a feeling — it's on screen. Kids who see their own progress keep working.

Weather is someone else's problem

Heated garage, real training floor, lights on. While the fields are underwater from now through March, the work in here never misses a week.

A weekly rhythm compounds

One session plus one practice plan, every week, for twenty weeks. That cadence — not any single lesson — is what makes March look easy.

How it works
  1. 01

    Book a free first session

We film it, coach it, and send home an honest read on where your player is and what winter should focus on.

  2. 02

    Lock a weekly time

Same coach, same slot, every week. The plan builds session over session instead of starting over each visit.

  3. 03

    Run the plan between visits

Every session ends with a practice plan in your inbox within 48 hours — drills for The Garage, the living room, or a break in the rain.

First session free · $45 per 30-minute session after · Club Membership $199/month for the full winter program.

One more thing

Winter training makes a serious gift.

Grandparents, take note: a gift certificate for filmed 1-on-1 sessions beats another gadget. Printable, emailed, never expires.

Winter FAQ

Do you really train through the whole winter?

Yes — The Garage runs all off-season, evenings and weekends. Rain, dark at 4:30, 38 degrees outside: none of it matters indoors. Winter is our busiest stretch because it's when the work actually moves a player.

When should we start?

November, honestly. There are roughly 20 weeks between the last fall game and the first spring practice. A player who trains weekly banks about 20 filmed sessions and 20 home practice plans in that window; starting in February leaves time for four.

What does a winter session look like?

Same as always: 30 private minutes, one coach, one kid. Tee and toss work, throwing, fielding — whatever the plan calls for. Every session is filmed and a practice plan lands in your inbox within 48 hours, so the week between visits counts too.

What should my player wear or bring?

Normal training clothes and their glove and bat if they have them — The Garage has everything else. It's indoors and comfortable; no baseball pants required, no frozen fingers.

How much does it cost?

First session is free. After that it's $45 per 30-minute session, or Club Membership at $199/month for three 60-minute sessions with film and analysis. Winter is also when gift certificates get popular — grandparents figured that one out fast.
